Many folks have asked me if it’s possible to embed a tweet in a blog post. Twitter makes that extremely easy to do so all you need to do is follow these instructions. Login to your Twitter account, and go to your “tweets” page. If you’re logged in, all you need to do is go to your Twitter page like mine at http://twitter.com/bgardner.
Look for the tweet you want to embed and then click on the “expand” link and then you’ll see some more information about the tweet. You’ll notice a “details” link after the date, so go ahead and click that. After you click the “details” link, your tweet will open into it’s own page .
There you will see the tweet, who retweeted and favorited it as well as a “embed this tweet” link. Click the “embed this tweet” link, and a screen will pop up which gives you options for embedding your tweet.
