Jerry Seinfeld Explains How He Writes Jokes

Jerry Seinfeld talks about comedy writing and how he writes a joke in this video from the New York Times. The Times also has a feature on Seinfeld. In the video, Seinfeld explains how he came up with a joke called "The Pop Tart Joke." Seinfeld says he always writes on yellow pads. He doesn't use the computer because he says he doesn't like that cursor flashing and asking, "So, What have you got?" Seinfeld compares the joke writing process to songwriting, where you are looking for just the right word with the right amount of syllables. He says if you have a long joke, the end is the hardest part because that is where the biggest laugh has to be. Take a look:

Jerry Seinfeld! Wow!Very interesting

Yet he didn't really made his genius understandable to me. You've got a ( huge) talent ( or haven't, I my case :-( ) which is unexplainable. Not even Seinfeld.
