Biasanya ukuran ini dipelihara oleh peternak sampai ukuran layak konsumsi.
Pemeliharaan Lele Dumbo Untuk Konsumsi
Lele dumbo untuk keperluan konsumsi biasanya dipelihara mulai dari ukuran 5-7 cm atau lebih besar, untuk hasil panen cepat bisa dilakukan dalam waktu 2 bulan dengan pemberian makanan yang ekstra dan optimal. Peluang usaha budidaya lele dumbo untuk konsumsi ini relatif lebih mudah karena ukuran lele yang besar lebih tahan terhadap penyakit, dan tingkat hidup lebih tinggi. Untuk mendapatkan ukuran lele dumbo yang lebih besar memerlukan waktu 3 sampai 4 bulan.
Persiapan Pembuatan Kolam Terpal
Persiapan untuk budi daya lele dumbo dengan kolam terpal meliputi persiapan lahan kolam , persiapan material terpal ,dan persiapan perangkat pendukung. Lahan yang perlu disediakan disesuaikan dengan keadaan dan jumlah lele yang akan dipelihara. Untuk Pembesaran sampai tingkat konsumsi bisa digunakan lahan dengan ukuran 2 x 1x 0.6 meter, yang bisa diisi dengan 100 ekor lele dumbo ukuran 5-7 cm. Model pembuatan kolam bisa dengan menggali tanah kemudian diberi terpal atau dengan membuat rangka dari kayu yang kemudian diberi terpal. Cara pertama lebih membuat terpal tahan lebih lama.
Pemeliharaan Lele Dumbo
Pertama kali kolam terpal diisi dengan air yang tidak terlalu dalam terlebh dahulu, untuk lele dumbo ukuran 5-7 cm bisa diisi air 40 cm terlebih dahulu, agar ikan tidak terlalu capek naik dan turun dasar kolam untuk mengambil oksigen, seiring dengan bertambahnya usia dan ukuran kedalaman air ditambah. Perlu disediakan pula rumpon atau semacam perlindungan untuk lele. Karena lele merupakan ikan yang senang bersembunyi di daerah yang tertutup. Pemberian pakan dilakukan dengan pemberian pelet sehari dua kali, lebih bagus lagi lebih dari dua kali tetapi dalam jumlah yang lebih sedikit. Jika di lingkungan tersedia pakan alami seperti Bekicot, kerang, keong emas, rayap dan lain-lain, bisa diberikan makanan alami tersebut. Makanan alami selain bisa menghemat pengeluaran juga memiliki kandungan protein yang tinggi sehingga pertumbuhan lele dumbo lebih cepat. Selain itu ada beberapa teknologi yang bisa dipakai untuk mempercepat pertumbuhan ikan lele dan ikan lainnya. Meski Lele dumbo tahan terhadap kondisi air yang buruk ada baiknya perlu diganti air sekitar 10-30% setiap minggu, agar kolam tidak terlalu kotor dan berbau. Penyakit pada ikan lele mudah menyerang pada air yang kotor. Pada usia satu bulan atau jika diperlukan perlu dilakukan seleksi dan pemisahan lele yang memiliki ukuran yang berbeda. Biasanya lele mengalami pertumbuhan yang tidak sama, sehingga jika tidak dipisahkan lele dengan ukuran kecil akan kalah bersaing dalam berebut makanan. Selain itu pisahkan jika ada ikan yang terindikasi terserang penyakit agar tidak menular.

Textile Painting Technique

After searching the information needed for my daughter’s fashion business, finally I got the following textile painting technique.. Textile painting can be freely interpreted as a technique to make patterns or decorate fabric by painting directly on fabric. The difference with paint on canvas, painting onfabric using a special paint that resists washed and ironed. So, this painting on cloth instead of using oil paints. This technique is easier than screen printing, because it does not require special tools such as the process of the latter. This technique is also not as complex as air brush techniques, but the results are not spectacular, too .
Materials Required: 


 1. Opaque: A type of white pasta as a main ingredient. Opaque is used as base material for screen printing . It can be obtained at stores that sell screen printing materials. 


 2. Binder: Fluid as a mixture of white pasta. It serves to dilute the opaque which is too dense to be liquid. It can be obtained at stores that sell screen printing materials. We recommend that you purchase this material rather a lot, because the binder is much more widely used than opaque. Then mix the two ingredients to be applied to the fabric. The ratio of Opaque-Binder mixing formula = 4: 1 . 


 3. Sandy dyes are cheap . You need not to buy a lot, because we need only a few drops of paint color in each formula textile painting. Sandy dyes can be bought everywhere at the screen printing shop, a stationery store that sells paint for posters and the like. We just bought 3 bottles of dyes for the creation of any color, namely blue, red and yellow. Three basic colors (primary) is the parent of all colors in the color world, except white. So we can mix colors to match our desires.

learned how to write project goals correctly and achieve results. In this lesson it had been discussed about the importance of creating a Knock Out Goal.

When you are creating your goals its important to set long term and short term goals. But its also important to write a knock out goal. A goal that encompasses all of your other goals. A goal that when you succeed at accomplishing it, you will feel complete. This goal should describe your character and passion. The achievement of your knock out goal would change everything!

The next step is writing your knock out goal down as you were taught in the previous lesson. Write your goal with detail and with passion. Once you have written your most important goal, carry it with you at all times. I suggest putting it in your wallet or purse. But where ever it is, make sure it's somewhere that you will see it often. By doing so you will constantly remind your subconscious and conscious minds, and it will keep them sharp.

Another reason why its integral that you carry your goal with always is because as soon as you write it down you will have doubts and fears. These doubts and fears are normal, but you must master them. It's OK at first have fears and doubts. Your knock out goal should stretch you and push you. But don't let your fears defeat you, let them be a testament for why you need to accomplish your goal.

American Idol Season Ten

American Idol 10 singing competition has been completed. It was described by my blogger friend Jolly Princess as I have quoted below.

I had the privilege of watching the finale of the show American Idol season 10. It was last Wednesday 25th of May night time in the U.S, 26th of May in the morning in Manila. I came home early from work after I learned of the result of my training. I thought of watching the news because of the typhoon in the provinces. My sister lives in Bicol provinces where the typhoon was heading.

After watching the early news I waited a bit to see what would be the next program. I got lucky to watch the finale of American Idol season 10. At the upper left hand of my television it was flashing “live”. I am elated. I do not have a cable television. I was glad our local network had the show via satellite. Only, I had to endure the local television ads.

Scotty McCreery, 17 years old lad from Garner, North Carolina, emerged as the winner. My congratulations to him!

Over the last couple years since I launched my business, I’ve had countless friends and acquaintances ask me about starting their own businesses, only to find out that they did not have the proper motivation, clear goals and objectives or commitment necessarily to be successful in business.

Admittedly, often what some have asked was simply this: “How do I get rich without any effort?”
So I’ve refined that first meeting to hammer one big hairy thought home with aspiring entrepreneurs (or those who pose as them) … which is :

Starting a business has been the single hardest job I’ve ever had in my life. It’ll be the toughest thing you ever do. Wimps need not apply.

I do follow up this statement to a select few who I think have what it takes to launch a startup with this one:

It’s also the most fun, fulfilling and rewarding job I’ve ever had.
But if you’re looking for overnight success … you have better odds and will create less damage by buying a lottery ticket.

So I’ve learned if you don’t have a healthy respect for the task at hand at starting a business … and the passion and commitment to work hard, to put in the time and effort necessary to make it a go … then stop now before you get started.

Honestly, I’d rather you not waste the time of your family and friends (and potential customers) because odds are you’re going to fizzle out before you launch … or fall hard and take them with you.

In this inaugural webinar for StartupSofa, I’m going to attempt to scare you … humble you …. and force you to dig deep inside yourself (and ultimately with your significant other) to make sure you are committed to the startup task before you waste time or money.

It is not difficult to bring the beauty of life in the water in our homes, whether it comes from freshwater environments, as well as from the sea. Occasionally we will realize, that being an ornamental fish, hobbies, like it or not, will automatically be at the same time also being an "expert" person in chemistry, physics, biology and mathematics. Do not believe? Try to start keep ornamental fish and prove it. However, you will not be alone, a lot of other hobbies that are ready to help you. If the clubs need to follow the ornamental fish in your place or join the virtual discussion groups on the internet about ornamental fish.

How to grow flowers ?

1. Get flower seeds

Pick only good flower seeds from a recognized company. This will ensure healthy flowers. You may also collect seeds from a noted flower garden as an alternative. However you should know that when you propagate from garden seeds, there is a possibility you may not get a genuine flower clone.

2. Set up garden beds

Setting up garden beds includes thawing, raking the soil surface, removing rocks and clay clods and combing the garden until a fine texture is achieved. Supplement your flower beds with compost and organics. Dig 6 – 8 inches before you put them in. Nitrogen will weaken your plants so try to avoid adding it when setting up your flower bed. Sprinkle the flower bed with water and let it drain for at least 24 hours.

3. Plant the flower seeds

If you picked fine flower seeds, it will be easier for you to plant them if you mix them with sand. This will also ensure even distribution. Use the back of your spade to press fine seeds lightly into the soil. If you have larger flower seeds, dig low trenches and place the seeds with the use of your hands. They should be fixed deep, far apart from one another. Regardless of seeds size, you have to make sure that the covering soil is both fine and porous so that young seedlings can easily push through.

4. Water the flower beds

Soak your seeds completely into the prepared soil. On the first time of watering your plants, you should be very cautious so that you will not disturb seed placement. The best way to prevent them from washing away or clumping together is with the use of a fine hand mister. Water your flower beds whenever necessary but be careful not to over-water. Doing so will cause your seeds to rot.

If you follow all these easy steps on how to grow flowers then you will have your personal haven in no time. All it needs is a little of your care and attention.
